Sustainability Strategy
Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Omnium is committed to a sustainable future through our operations and the services we provide. Our strategy is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on SDGs 5, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 16. We aim to leverage our position as a leading Order Management System to contribute meaningfully to these global goals.
1. Gender Equality (SDG 5)
Objective. Promote gender equality and empower all women and girls within Omnium and across our customer base.
Inclusive workplace. Ensure gender diversity in our workforce by implementing unbiased hiring practices, offering equal pay, and fostering a culture that supports the advancement of women in leadership roles.
Partnerships for gender equality. Collaborate with organizations that focus on empowering women in technology and business. Offer training and support for women entrepreneurs using our platform. We are also committed to the MACH Alliance Manifesto for Gender Equality.
Software accessibility. Develop features in Omnium that are accessible and user-friendly for all genders, taking into account the diverse needs of our customer base.
2. Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8)
Objective. Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
Employee well-being. Foster a work environment that prioritises the well-being of our employees through flexible working arrangements, continuous professional development, and a strong focus on the family life of our employees.
Fair labour practices. Ensure that all of our suppliers and partners adhere to fair labour practices.
Job creation through innovation. Use our platform to create new opportunities for businesses, thereby contributing to economic growth and job creation.
3. Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11)
Objective. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
Supply chain optimisation. Help businesses optimise their supply chains through our Order Management System, reducing unnecessary logistics and minimising the environmental impact.
Supporting local economies. Encourage the use of local suppliers and vendors within our platform to support local economic resilience.
4. Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)
Objective. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
Promote circular economy. Facilitate and promote circular economy practices through our platform by providing businesses with tools to manage returns, refurbishments, and recycling efficiently.
Sustainable supply chain management. Integrate features in Omnium that help businesses track the sustainability of their supply chains, encouraging responsible sourcing and production.
5. Climate Action (SDG 13)
Objective. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
Carbon footprint reduction. Minimise the carbon footprint of our own operations by optimising data centre efficiency and reducing business travel through virtual collaboration tools.
Green product development. Develop features that help our clients reduce their environmental impact, such as tools for optimising logistics routes to lower carbon emissions.
6. Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16)
Objective. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable institutions at all levels.
Ethical business practices. Uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all of Omnium's operations, including transparent reporting and strict anti-corruption measures.
Data security and privacy. Ensure that Omnium's platform is secure, protecting the data and privacy of our clients and, by extension, their customers. This builds trust and strengthens institutions. As a result, Omnium is SOC 2 certified.
